AMARAVATI: A youth in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district committed himself after testing positive for Covid-19, according to police. On Tuesday night, the man jumped to his death from the fourth level of a building. The incident occurred in the town of Kuppam. According to authorities, Due to family troubles, Vijay Achari (30) swallowed pesticides in an apparent suicide attempt on Tuesday night. He was brought to a private hospital by family members, where he was tested for Covid-19. After learning that he was infected, the man leaped from the fourth level of the building, destroying window glass in the process. He died on the spot. Achari's family members were described by police as stating that he was upset after testing positive. According to a police officer, they filed a report and began their investigation. The motive for the man's previous suicide attempt was also being investigated by police.
