Bangalore: Taiwanese company Wistron Corp has suffered a loss of nearly Rs 52 crore ($ 7.12 million) due to the sabotage at the iPhone manufacturing factory located in Kolar district of Karnataka. The company has given information about the incident of Wistron manufactures mobile phones for Apple on Tuesday. The company had earlier claimed in the FIR that it had lost more than Rs 440 crore. But now the news agency Reuters has reported that the company has incurred a loss of just Rs 52 crore. It is noteworthy that this factory is present in Narasapur Industrial Area of Kolar District, Karnataka. It is being told that the employees working there had not been paid for many months, due to which they created a ruckus on Saturday. After getting the information of the case, the police reached the site and drove the protesters. Earlier, employees of the company's factory created a ruckus on the spot. They broke the glass doors and cabins. The commotion went on for a long time. Employees set some vehicles standing in the factory on fire and also threw stones at the factory. Employees say that they have not received a salary for several months. The company kept assuring salary repeatedly, but no money was given. which has made their living difficult. In such a situation, the anger of the employees erupted and they vandalized.
