The new Discovery+ docuseries House of Hammer will extensively examine the allegations of abuse against Armie Hammer. The next show's trailer, which debuted last month, featured the actor's purported victims talking about their experiences. Casey Hammer, Armie Hammer's aunt, will also address their family history and the actor's accusations in the series. Armie's aunt went up to US Weekly in a conversation before the docuseries' premiere about her thoughts on the actor's alleged misconduct and said, "I honestly was not surprised or shocked. Based on how I grew up, I was exposed to horrific crimes and experiences that were covered up because it was behind closed doors and we couldn’t talk about it." She further added, "I thought, ‘Oh, here we go. Another Hammer man.'" They are both the grandkids of business magnate Armand Hammer, who passed away in 1990, and Casey is the sister of Michael Hammer, Armie's father. The planned docuseries will examine all of the family's conflicts and trace the history of the Hammer family. Interviews with women who claim that the Call Me by Your Name actor discussed his interest in cannibalism and other fetishes with them when they were dating will also be included in the series. Regarding Hammer, the actor and his wife of ten years, Elizabeth Chambers, had split several months prior to the claims against him appearing online where she said, "It has been an incredible journey, but together, we’ve decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage."
