Itanagar: A piece of bad news has emerged amid preparations for Vijayadashami across the country. Today (October 5), an Army helicopter crashed in Arunachal Pradesh. It is reported that one pilot lost his life in the accident. Officials have said that the accident took place when the helicopter was flying regularly. At present, the army is ascertaining the cause of the accident. Indian Army officials have said that the helicopter met with an accident during a routine flight at around 10 am. Both pilots were badly injured in the incident. The pilot, Colonel Saurabh Yadav, died during treatment, officials said. At the same time, other members of the team are undergoing treatment. According to officials, the cause of the accident in the northeastern state is yet to be ascertained. At present, the investigation is going on.
