Srinagar: Security forces have gunned down two militants in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday morning. The encounter between security forces and militants took place in the Ashimpora area of the Shopian district. The security forces surrounded the two terrorists there.
Jammu and Kashmir Police has given information about the encounter. It was reported that the encounter took place in the Amshipora area of the Shopian district. Two terrorists have been killed in it. Objectionable material, including arms and ammunition, was recovered from them. A search operation is currently underway there.
