Itanagar: The number of infected people in the state increased to 50,793 after 188 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Arunachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, the death toll rose to 251 after three more people died of infection. A senior health department official reported on Thursday that out of the new 188 cases, the capital complex area has the highest number of 54 cases, Lower Subansiri 15 and Twang 12. According to information, 2,488 people are currently undergoing treatment for coronavirus infection in the state and 48,054 people have recovered. The rate of recovery of patients is 94.61 percent and that of samples is 4.12 percent. He said a total of 9,90,843 samples have been examined so far on Covid-19. Meanwhile, state immunization officer Dr. Dimong Padung said that 8,95,956 people have been given corona vaccine doses in the state since the vaccination drive began in January. On the other hand, the number of active cases in the country has increased to 3,87,987 after five days. With the increase in active cases, the war against corona seems to be getting serious once again. According to data updated by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Monday, the total number of infected people in the country has gone up to 3,20,77,706 with new cases.
