Guwahati: There is a furore in the country due to the Corona virus. The number of corona infected patients is increasing every day. Meanwhile, some journalists, including top government officials in Assam, have been quarantined after coming in contact with a patient infected with the coronavirus.

Assam Health Minister Dr Hemant Biswa Sarma said that the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) and Superintendent of Police (SP) of Morigaon district have been sent in isolation due to contact with Corona positive patient. Apart from these two government officials, some press persons of the district have also been quarantined. In fact, two new corona positive patients were confirmed in Lahorighat area of Morigaon district on Thursday. After which the government sent some journalists along with government officials in isolation.
