Lucknow: Ayodhya, the birthplace of Rama Lord, has become the focal point of devotion and faith since ages. This importance of this city calls the devotees towards itself. Devotees from all over the world are visiting here every day. Keeping this in mind, the railway station of Ayodhya city has also made a special place in Indian Railways. Ayodhya railway station operates many trains daily and makes passengers visit Ayodhya. Now that the Ram temple is going to be constructed in Ayodhya, the rejuvenation of Ayodhya station has also been prepared. The station is also going to get a new look on the lines of the Ram temple itself. Where the station is now being developed and this work will be completed by the year 2021. On behalf of the Railway Division, the process of decorating the station in a new way has been started by making a big change in the form of Ayodhya railway station, passenger amenities, cleanliness, beauty, and different essential facilities. The construction work of Ayodhya station equipped with new and modern passenger facilities has been released. In the financial year 2017-18, Rs 80 crore had been approved for this building, which has now been increased to Rs 104 crore. This station building is being constructed by RITES company. The construction of the railway station of Ayodhya is to be done in two ways. In the first phase, the development work, the existing circulating area, and the holding area are to be made in platform numbers 1 and 2/3. Construction of new station building and other facilities has been started in the second phase. In these facilities, large-scale work is being done in the area inside and outside the station. The facilities available at the station are also being increased. Apart from this, the work of increasing the number of facilities including ticket counter, waiting hall, air conditioning 3 resting room, 17-bed male dormitory, 10-bed female dormitory, an extra foot over bridge, food plaza, shops, additional toilets.
