Cape Town: Bangladesh won the ICC Under-19 World Cup final played at the Cenveus Park ground, beating India by three wickets as per Duckworth-Louis rule to become the champion for the first time. Bangladesh won the toss and bowled first, bowled four-time champions India for 177 runs in 47.2 overs and then achieved the target by losing seven wickets under Duckworth-Louis rule while remaining 23 balls. Bangladesh again returned to the contest with a 41-run partnership for the seventh wicket between Eamon and Ali.
