Bengaluru: BBMP will give free corona kit to those living in home isolation

Bengaluru: The Greater Bangalore Metropolitan Municipality in Karnataka has been preparing to make the free corona kit available to those infected with corona infection. This prepared free kit will be given to the infected living in home isolation. This free kit will have some essential accessories including a thermometer and oximeter. If officers are to be believed, then the health of the infected people with home isolation will be easily monitored due to the thermometer and the oximeter. If the health of the infected is seen to be a little disturbed, then the home isolation patient can give immediate information in the BBMP control room.

The suggestion of giving a free corona kit came from Revenue Minister R Ashoka. This time the minister said, 'When I was in home quarantine, I felt that these devices are needed to monitor the health of the infected. The infected itself can check its oxygen level. I asked to make a proposal. However, this proposal has not been approved yet. '

BBMP Commissioner Manjunath Prasad told about this kit that if the oxygen level of an infected body is less than 90%, then he needs to be admitted to the hospital immediately. This type of kit will be helpful for those infected with home isolation. The price of this kit is less than Rs 3000. Apart from this, if BBMP officers believe, this corona of home isolation is going to be given under the Kits Way Program for Works. They will be given to corporators in every ward so that they can distribute this kit in the ward. The civic body has asked to release 25 lakh rupees for this scheme soon.
