Imphal: The news of a big attack on Indian Army personnel is coming in Manipur. In this attack, three army soldiers received martyred, while 6 soldiers have been injured. The incident took place in Chandel district, about 95 km from the capital Imphal, at around 1.15 pm on Wednesday night. It is a hilly region.
During the campaign against militant groups on the Indo-Myanmar border, three personnel of 4 Assam Rifles received martyr. Militants have been attacked by militants. 6 soldiers have been injured in this attack, who have been admitted to the Military Hospital in Imphal West District for treatment. On giving information, sources said that the attack has been carried out by the local militant group People's Liberation Army (PLA) of Manipur. A search operation is being carried out by the army in search of militants. The number of soldiers on the Indo-Myanmar border has been increased.
Earlier in November last year, militants attacked the Assam Rifles camp in Chandel district. The militants threw bombs in the military camp. After this, there was firing from both sides. The militants then fled to the nearby hills. No army personnel were killed in this attack.
