Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, 74, has appealed to the people of the state to support the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. In his written appeal, Kumar highlighted the progress made by Bihar under his leadership since 2005, emphasizing the state's journey from a state of despair to one of development.

Kumar pointed out the improvements made in Bihar, including infrastructure development, access to basic facilities like roads, electricity, water, education, and healthcare. He also highlighted the efforts to reduce unemployment through initiatives like the 7 Resolves program, which aims to provide jobs to the youth. Under his administration, Kumar mentioned the announcement of 10 lakh jobs and employment opportunities as part of the government's flagship program 6 Resolves (Part-2). He also noted the significant increase in recruitment in various sectors such as education and police.

Encouraging voters to support NDA candidates, Kumar emphasized the progress made in Bihar in terms of education, employment, and women's empowerment. He highlighted the improvement in girls' enrollment in schools, increased employment opportunities for women, and their significant representation in panchayat raj bodies.

Kumar also recalled the lawlessness that prevailed in Bihar before 2005, mentioning that even doctors were not safe from abductions during that time. He urged voters to ensure that Bihar's journey towards progress and prosperity continues by supporting NDA candidates in the upcoming elections, thus maintaining the state's positive trajectory.
