Bengaluru Tech Summit comes to a close on positive note

BENGALURU: The Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS)-2021, which is Karnataka's premier event, concluded on a high note on Friday evening after a three-day run. E.V. Ramana Reddy, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Information Technology, Biotechnology, and Science and Technology, noted in his closing comments that the event drew 26,863 delegates and nearly 49,935 attendance.

The BTS-2021 has reached over four crore people, with 2.93 crore impressions across various social media sources, including digital channels, and 98,10,500 viewers through traditional media, Reddy said. He said, the BTS 2021 meeting featured 8 plenary sessions, 75 seminars in four tracks, 18 on-demand sessions, and 343 speakers. Apart from 27 EU countries and 54 Commonwealth countries, 48 countries participated in the annual tech showcase for the first time, he added. According to him, the event had three ministerial-level delegations and 1253 international delegates.

According to him, the BTS 2021 meet saw 2130 emails exchanged and 688 meetings held, with 340 expo attendees from Australia, Pennsylvania, the United States, the United Kingdom, Toronto (Canada), New South Wales, and Germany, as well as 24,511 visitors.
