'Bhaiyaji Back' 2 was sent to jail again! Rapist ABVP leaders had to put up posters heavily

Jabalpur: In Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur city, it has become difficult to put up posters across the city after ABVP student leader and former metropolitan minister Shubhang Gotia was granted bail. Supreme Court has expressed its displeasure over this and ordered to cancel the bail of the criminal. The Supreme Court has directed criminal Shubhang Gotia to surrender within a week.

Shubhang Gotia is accused of raping a young woman by duping her of marriage. In September last year, the police arrested the criminal, Shubhang. Subsequently, in November 2021, the convict was granted bail by the High Court. The culprit, after getting bail, put up posters with the hashtag Bhaiyaji Back in many areas of the city. On which the victim had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking rejection of the bail of the convict.

It was stated in the petition that while granting bail to the criminal, the High Court did not take the facts seriously. The former history of the criminal was also not taken into account. The criminal belongs to the big house, so on the basis of his clout, he is propagating himself as a domineering leader. In the petition, the victim also shared photographs of banner posters across the city in the Apex Court. While hearing the petition, a bench of Chief Justice of India NV Ramana and Justice Krishna Murari and Justice Hima Kohli issued notices asking why your bail should not be cancelled. The court also issued notice to the Madhya Pradesh government seeking its response. Now, in the next hearing, the supreme court said that the manner in which the posters have been put up by the criminal and his supporters highlights the impact. In the society, it will have a wrong effect on the victim and her family. The court said that this brazen behaviour of the offender has created fear in the mind of the victim and if the offender remains on bail, it will have an impact on a fair investigation and an independent trial of the case. The offender may influence witnesses. Therefore, the offender is not entitled to bail. After which the court cancelled the bail of the convict Shubhang and directed him to surrender within a week.
