The company raised around $ 750 million from investors in Asia, Europe and America. Airtel has raised this amount from various types of securities. According to a statement by Bharti Airtel, 'its complete subsidiary network i2i ltd. has offered 5.65 percent interest for securities worth $ 750 million. The company will use this amount for refinancing, investment in subsidiary companies and general company operations. Ashish Sardana, treasury head of Bharti Airtel, said that in the current global economic environment, better response to early hybrid securities from high-quality investors in Asia, Europe and America shows the future growth potential of its business. A banker involved in the transaction said that the securities have been distributed to fund / asset managers, insurance companies etc. Bharti Airtel has a cheaper postpaid plan for Rs 399. However, Airtel is no longer making it available in every circle. Airtel has listed this plan in the other section. It has been removed from the main plan's list. Only users from Andhra Pradesh, Delhi / NCR, Karnataka, Chennai and Tamil Nadu can avail this plan. Airtel is providing 40 GB data in it.
