These works are being put on contract laborers. This is the reason why accidents are happening to contract workers. There have been accidents this year as well. Death has also occurred. Poor renting is a concern. These accidents have to be stopped. Chaudhary said that fire incidents are happening in Bokaro and Bhilai. Also this is not a good sign for Maharatna company. Recently, no one was killed, but in this we had an equipment loss and production loss of 200 crores. Employee morale falls. Production loss is increasing. Due to these reasons, salary agreement has not been done. According to the cell chairman, the issue of safety also needs a lot of attention. He said that it is our goal to bring the Risk Challenge to 0.2, but we have not been able to achieve it yet. There have been four fire incidents in Bokaro. A fire every six months is not a good thing for the Maharatna company. Improvement seen in third quarter In the address of the SAIL Chairman, it has become clear that better results are expected in the third quarter. He said that in the first quarter he could not achieve the target as expected. BSP and Rourkela plant disappointed. Going into a loss in the second quarter of the current financial year after being in profit for 10 consecutive quarters is a matter of concern. The performance is expected to be good in the third quarter. The graph of production has increased since October. There has been an increase in demand for steel, but it is not getting its value.
