Bhubaneshwar: On Sunday, two people were arrested in connection with a sex racket operating at a hotel in the Kalinga Nagar district of the city, which is within the jurisdiction of the Bharatpur police. According to reports, a team of Commissionerate of Police raided the hotel-turned-guest house in the Kalinga Nagar area today morning. While the hotel owner escaped from the site before the police reached there, a customer and a middleman involved in the racket were detained. A total of eight West Bengal girls were rescued from the site. After interrogation, they will be sent to their home. According to sources, a complaint has been filed under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
