Bhuttos, Sharifs destroyed Pakistan: Imran Khan

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has lashed out at the Bhuttos and Sharifs, accusing them of destroying the country and contributing to the country's current problems.

Imran Khan claimed that Pakistan was rich in resources, but that the Bhutto and Sharif families abused them. He stated that his government wished for Pakistan to prosper and was fighting the two super-rich families. According to the report, the Prime Minister also claimed that the two families were attempting to establish their dynasties in Pakistan and were to blame for the country's current state.

"Corruption is a destructive force in a country. Poor countries are poor not because of a lack of resources, but because of corrupt leadership. If corruption allegations are levelled against ministers, I will conduct my own transparent investigations "Khan added that the government acted after a sugar inquiry report exposed the mafia.

The Prime Minister expressed concern about the Afghan crisis, saying they are facing extreme hunger and that the US should help them, according to the report. "I didn't understand what the US hoped to accomplish in Afghanistan. In the name of so-called war (against terror), they occupied the country for 20 years."
