The charge charged from passengers of India, Bangladesh and Maldives is much less than the charge applicable to passengers of other countries. That is, foreign travelers going to Bhutan will have to pay about 17,000 rupees per day separately. Most Indians love to roam in the western part of Bhutan. The government has kept the SDF charge low here to promote the eastern side. The same charge will not be levied on children below 5 years. And for the entry of 6-12 years old children will have to pay only 600 rupees ...
