Patna: Today is the second day of the budget session of the Bihar Legislature. Today Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister cum Finance Minister Tarkishore Prasad presented the budget. During this, Tarakishore Prasad started with a Sanskrit verse from Kautilya's Arthashastra. After this, he wrote the poem. After that Finance Minister Tarkishore Prasad presented a budget of 2 lakh 37 thousand 691 crores in Bihar. He has given 29 thousand 749 crores for agriculture in Bihar. So at the same time a provision of 1643 crore 74 lakh has been made for the industry. Along with this, under the empowered women empowerment scheme, 25 thousand unmarried women are being assisted on passing intermediate, 50 thousand are being helped on passing graduation, a provision of 900 crores has been made in this item in 2022-23. Apart from this, Finance Minister Tarkishore Prasad said that a provision of 1 thousand 1.10 crore has been made in the budget for every household tap water. Further, he also said that 700 crores have been allocated for the credit card scheme in the financial year 2022-23. With this, Tarkishore Prasad said – Health, education, investment in agriculture, agriculture, development of rural and urban infrastructure and development of different sections, this year's budget has been divided into these six sources. He also said that 151 factories will be set up for ethanol production in Bihar. The growth rate is expected to be 9.7 in the financial year 2022-23.
