Patna: Today is the second day of the budget session of the Bihar Legislature. The Deputy Chief Minister-cum-Finance Minister of Bihar, Tarkishore Prasad is presenting the budget. In such a situation, today the Finance Minister announced in the Budget speech- "There will be 151 factories for ethanol production in Bihar. He said that the growth rate in the financial year 2022-23 is 9. I'm expected to stay 7.''

He said that the government is committed to the welfare of scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, minorities. 16,134 crore has been allocated to improve health security. 65 per cent of the budget will be spent in the social sector. Further, Finance Minister Tarkishore said that Bihar is the state with the highest economic growth rate across the country this year. Private investment in Bihar will boost the economy.

He said that the emphasis of the government will be on health, education, industry, agriculture, infrastructure, the welfare of various sections. More than 8 crore people have been vaccinated in Bihar. The Deputy CM further said that dearness allowance is being paid regularly. Bihar, where there are limited resources, is still a developing state. Welfare schemes are continuously running in Bihar. Help is being given to the poor and weaker sections. Apart from this, he also said - "Despite the impact of Corona, the Indian economy has been affected, Bihar is developing.''
