Bihar Dalit Development Mission scam: Case filed against 10 people including former IAS officers

Constantly increasing incidents across the country are creating problems for the people. Everyday news of some big scam comes out. Recently, the Bihar Vigilance Investigation Bureau (VIB) has registered a complaint against 10 former officers of Bihar Mahadalit Development Mission in a scam of Rs 7.3 crore. The accused include one suspended IAS and three former IAS. The money was forged and given to a private agency. The name of whose MD is also included in the FIR. The appointing welfare body of the agency has started teaching English to Scheduled Caste youngsters.

According to the FIR, the accused has shown more than Rs 7.3 crore during 2012-2016 by showing fake entries of the students. The name of suspended IAS officer SM Raju is also included in the FIR. He is a former mission director and chief executive officer.

According to the information received, the mission directors and retired IAS officers Raghavendra Jha, Rajanarayan Lal, Ramashish Paswan and the then mission coordinators Anil Kumar Sinha and Sasibhushan Singh and assistant directors Harendra Kumar Srivastava and Birendra Chaudhary and former state project officer Devjani Kar are included. The name of British Lingua Managing Director Birbal Jha has also been included.
