BJP is all set for election in four states, announced team

NEW DELHI: BJP has made preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in four states. BJP has announced an election team for these states. The party has appointed Union Minister Prakash Javadekar as the election in-charge of Delhi, Narendra Singh Tomar in Haryana, Bhupendra Yadav, Maharashtra and Om Mathur in Jharkhand. UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has been appointed as the co-in-charge of Haryana by Maharashtra and UP's only minister Bhupendra Singh.

The BJP is in power in three States except Delhi. The party faces the challenge of saving power from these states and coming back to Power in Delhi. The BJP had won a historic victory in these states in the Lok Sabha elections. While the party had cleared the opposition soup in Delhi, Haryana also managed to win all the Lok Sabha seats for the first time. After a spectacular victory in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, the BJP is on high alert in the state. After the results came in, several senior leaders of the Congress and NCP have joined the BJP.

However, the main problem here is seat sharing with its ally Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena wants half of the seats, while the new BJP is not ready to give it more than 80 seats. It is not easy for the BJP in Delhi to deal with the populist announcements of the Kejriwal government. The party, however, won all the seats in the lok sabha elections in Delhi.
