BJP leader Kirit Saumaiya accused of Uddhav Thackeray of crores of scam

Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kirit Somaiya has made serious allegations against Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray for allegedly scam of Rs 12,000 crore. Kirit Somaiya claims that at the behest of CM Thackeray, the municipal commissioner passed a proposal to purchase 3,000 and 7000 crore rupees of private builder's land within 72 hours.

Kirit Somaiya will meet Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari in this context and demand him to order an inquiry from the Lokayukta. According to Somaiya, Rs 7,000 crore was sanctioned for the construction of the hospital, Rs 3,000 crore for land and Rs 2,000 crore for infrastructure. But in doing all this, no process was completed.

Kirit alleges that Uddhav Thackeray discussed the matter in a meeting of the Kovid Task Force without consulting the cabinet, health department officials, municipal officials or their associates. After discussion, the municipal commissioner immediately agreed to pass the resolution. Kirit said in his complaint that the CM has tried to use the task force to carry out the scam.
