Srinagar: The Union Government has announced to abolish Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir on August 5. This ended the special status given to the state. The government divided the state into two union territories. During this time, all kinds of political activities in the valley came to a standstill. Because the government put the key political leaders under arrest. But during this the BJP continued its political campaign. BJP has got very good results in the membership campaign run in Kashmir. The saffron party has achieved remarkable success in three parliamentary constituencies considered to be the stronghold of terrorists and separatists. The party has managed to create around 50,000 new members in the three parliamentary constituencies Baramulla, Srinagar and Anantnag. Of these, 23134 members filled the form and took membership in the party. According to a senior party leader associated with the membership campaign, since the beginning of the membership campaign started after finishing Section 370. After this decision, phone and Internet services in the Kashmir Valley were irregular. Despite this, the party has managed to create around 50,000 new members through the Namo app, missed calls and forms. After the situation becomes normal, the party will launch a massive campaign to bring especially youths from the Valley. The BJP got one thousand new members from terrorists Zakir Musa and Burhan Wani in home territory Tral. Similarly, in Pulwama, Sheppian and Kulgam, which are considered to be strongholds of terrorists, the party got three thousand new members.
