Bhopal: The Congress returned to power in Madhya Pradesh last year after 15 years. The party however did not get a clear majority. Being the largest party in the state, it got the chance to form the government. Faction started among the big leaders of the state during the formation of the government. Which increased after the Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, after the high command's intervention, the matter seems to be somewhat narrow. Yesterday i.e. on Tuesday, party general secretary Jyotiraditya Scindia met CM Kamal Nath in Bhopal.
The Congress high command alternately held talks with leaders of the three factions of the state, Kamal Nath, Scindia and Digvijay Singh. After this, after the leaders made rhetoric and complaints against each other, the matter has been referred to the Disciplinary Committee. In a meeting held with Congress-ruled Chief Ministers in the recent past, Sonia Gandhi instructed to coordinate between the government and the organization and resolve issues related to public by meeting among themselves.
The reason behind Scindia's meeting with Kamal Nath is being told the development work related to his area, which he went to the capital Bhopal for speeding of the work. It is clear that the two leaders have been concerned since the formation of the government. In the past, pro-Scindia minister Umang Singar openly opposed Digvijay and supported Kamal Nath. Kamal Nath also went to Akhil for a letter written to Digvijay's ministers and asking for an account. He complained to the leadership. A new state president is to be elected in the state. For which Jyotiraditya Scindia, the potential contender, is being considered.
