6-year-old granddaughter of BJP MP dies during burning firecrackers

Prayagraj: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Prayagraj, Rita Bahuguna Joshi's granddaughter died due to scorching fire. Kia, the 6-year-old daughter of Rita Bahuguna Joshi's son Mayank Joshi, died of scorching fire due to firecrackers. After this, she was admitted to the hospital. Where she died during treatment.

According to the information found in media reports, the innocent Kia died in the hospital in Delhi at around three in the morning. When her condition started deteriorating in Prayagraj, she was taken to Delhi AIIMS for better treatment. Here doctors tried hard to save her, but could not succeed and Kia died eventually. Rita Bahuguna Joshi is a BJP MP from Prayagraj Lok Sabha seat. Her family was in Prayagraj on the night of Diwali. According to the information, the girl went to play on the terrace with other children on the night of Diwali. It is feared that her clothes caught fire due to fireworks burnt by someone at the same time.

Kia, 6, was wearing a fancy dress on Diwali night. According to the report, seeing the fire in clothes, she made a noise, but the family thought that maybe the children are playing among themselves. So they did not pay attention nor did anyone go to see her. After a long time, when someone went to the roof, they found the girl in a very scorched condition. The girl was immediately taken to a local hospital but by then it was too late.
