CHANDIGARH: After accusing the BJP of attempting to topple the Delhi govt, the AAP govt on Tuesday claimed the saffron party of offering its MLAs in Punjab Rs 20-25 crore each to bring down the Bhagwant Mann government. State Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema on Wednesday disclosed the names of 11 MPs who were attempted to be "allured," a day after ramping up accusations against the BJP's Central government for trying to topple the AAP government in Punjab by paying sizable money to its legislators. The legislators were Baljinder Kaur, Manjit Singh Bilaspur, Labh Singh Ugoke, Budh Ram, Kulwant Pandori, Narinder Kaur Bharaj, Rajnish Dahiya, Rupinder Singh Happy, and Dinesh Chadha. The BJP, however, refuted the claim by asserting that AAP was making an effort to deflect attention away from its own governance shortcomings. Cheema alleged that even legislator Angural was given death threats. "He is not alone in this. He claimed that some of the other MLAs received death threats from BJP agents. He said 35 legislators had been contacted, and 10 of them had received death threats. "I'm bringing these MLAs to see the DGP and asking him to look into the situation. We're going to ask him to report a crime. The minister said, "We're submitting all of our evidence against them." Addressing the media here, Cheema on Tuesday said under 'Operation Lotus' many leaders and agents of the BJP from Delhi and Punjab have approached at least 10 AAP MLAs on phone in the past seven days and offered Rs 25 crore to each to quit AAP and join the BJP. In addition to promising them Cabinet ministerial ranks after the BJP becomes the government in the state, he claimed they were offering to set up meetings between AAP MLAs and Babu-ji (a prominent BJP politician). Cheema attacked the Modi government, claiming it was "working as a serial killer in Punjab" and that "anti-national powers have joined forces to overthrow the AAP government in Punjab as they are unable to digest the dynamic functioning of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann-led government in the state." "The BJP is trying to buy MLAs in Punjab after employing central investigating agencies against AAP leaders and paying MLAs in Delhi," Cheema claimed. The BJP, he claimed "is a serial killer that is overthrowing state governments one at a time by using agencies and money to coerce opposition party leaders. Punjab is the next region to be assassinated as part of "Operation Lotus. "These guys establish governments wherever the BJP loses by ousting MLAs with the aid of the CBI, ED, and financial resources. In Goa, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Arunachal Pradesh they carried it out. They are currently doing it in Punjab "Cheema said. AAP ruled states have no money.., salaries of employees stuck in Delhi and Punjab! Bhagwant Mann offers 1,000 acres for textile park Punjab govt employees did not get salaries, AAP govt did not have funds!
