Bihar: BJP slams grand alliance over-celebrating Ram Manohar Lohiya death anniversary

Patna: After the embarrassing defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, efforts have been intensified to revive the dying Grand Alliance in Bihar. The constituents involved in the grand alliance will try to show solidarity on the pretext of Lohia. On October 12, in the Bapu auditorium of Patna, on behalf of the grand alliance, the death anniversary of Lohia will be jointly celebrated, whose organizer Upendra Kushwaha will remain.

At the same time, opposition leaders from all over the country will be called in a common program of the grand alliance organized on Lohia's death anniversary. Left parties are also expected to be called in this program. It is the effort of the constituent parties in the Grand Alliance to unite the anti-NDA forces. The BJP has taken a dig at this. BJP spokesperson Prem Ranjan Patel has said that opposition parties will celebrate Lohia's death anniversary.

He said that Lohia has always been against the Congress and he fought against the Congress. But today the opposition has sat in the lap of the Congress. Lohia should be against familyism, Lohia should be against corruption, but these people continue to worry about how to establish their family in politics. The opposition is immersed in the terror of corruption, the things that Lohia protested against, these things have been adopted by the parties of the Grand Alliance.
