Indore: Fed up with the cattle roaming on the roads in Madhya Pradesh, the government is now bringing a proposal under which anyone in the state can now adopt cows. The animal husbandry ministry has prepared a proposal in this regard. In fact, the Kamal Nath government has prepared a plan to build 1000 cow shelters in the first phase under Project Goshala, in which stray cattle will be kept on the roads.
Animal Husbandry Minister Lakhan Singh Yadav told the media that after the announcement of Project Gaushala, many volunteers and organizations besides him approached various religious organizations and expressed their desire to serve cows in Goshala. Lakhan Singh Yadav said that after this, his department has prepared a proposal under Project Goshala that if a person wants, he can adopt and serve the cows present there. For this, Rs 20 per cow should be paid per day.
Apart from this, if a person does not want to adopt a limited number of cows, he can pay Rs 30 per cow daily. But there is a condition that the person should have his own land or cowshed for keeping cows and there should be proper sanitation in it.
