Significantly, according to the Returning Officer, February 10 was the last day for withdrawal of nominations. In such a situation, Congress candidate Khekashe Sumi withdrew her nomination. Due to this 68-year-old BJP candidate, Kazheto Kinimi won. While Kinimi celebrated with his supporters immediately after being elected unopposed. Let us inform you that in the 2018 assembly elections held in Nagaland also, Kazheto Kinimi was elected from Akuluto assembly seat. And this time also his victory is confirmed.
Kinimi, who won the Akuluto seat for the second time in a row, wrote in a tweet that he is humbled and honored to represent the people of Akuluto 31 A/C unopposed for a second term.
