Boney Kapoor is badly trapped... Several kilograms of silver seized from the car

In the midst of the Karnataka elections, filmmaker Boney Kapoor seems to be caught in a legal tussle. The Election Commission seized 66 kg of silver utensils from a car on Friday morning. The cost of these utensils is Rs 39 lakh. It is being said that this car belongs to Boney Kapoor. These utensils have also been seized at the checkpost near the Hebbalu toll on the outskirts of Davangere, Karnataka.

Reports say that the silverware was being taken from Chennai to Mumbai in a BMW car without any proper documents. The utensils were kept in five boxes. The silver articles seized from the car weigh about 66 kg. There are silver plates, spoons, bowls, water mugs, and many more. These were seized from the boot space of the car. It is being told that the investigating officers stopped on the Pune-Bengaluru highway, which was being driven by a person named Hari Singh, and a person named Sultan Khan was also present with him.

During the investigation, it was found that the car was registered with Bayview Projects Pvt. Ltd., owned by Boney Kapoor. In action, Hari Singh confessed that the silverware belonged to the family of Bollywood filmmaker Boney Kapoor. Election officials have seized silver articles for not producing the relevant documents. The police are also probing whether they belong to the family of silverware maker Boney Kapoor.
