Jaipur: Senior Congress leader and former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot has once again attacked Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. Pilot has accused Chief Minister Gehlot of colluding with BJP leaders and saving former CM Vasundhara Raje. Along with this, Pilot has also announced a one-day fast against Gehlot.

Pilot said that he would go on a one-day fast in Jaipur on April 11 for not taking action in corruption cases by the Rajasthan government. This fast will be done at the martyr's memorial in Jaipur on the occasion of the birth anniversary of social reformer Jyotiba Phule. Pilot alleged that whatever scams took place in the BJP government, the Gehlot government suppressed them. Pilot said that the Congress government does what it says about corruption. He said that when the Congress came to power in Rajasthan, many big things were said about corruption, but no action has been taken on them yet.

Sachin Pilot alleged that when there was a BJP government headed by Vasundhara Raje in the state, many corruptions had taken place. In this regard, as the president, he had conveyed his message to the people. During that time, the Congress had promised at the time of the elections that strict action would be taken against the corrupt if a government was formed. The result of this was that in 2018, Vasundhara's government left office. Pilot said that he had written a letter to Chief Minister Gehlot a year and a quarter ago and, as promised, talked about taking action against the corrupt. Pilot said that in that letter he had said that three and a half years have passed, but no action has been taken against any corrupt person, including the Khan mafia, the land mafia, the liquor mafia, and Lalit Modi.

The former deputy CM said that there was no response to his letter. He said that he had written this letter to the party as well, but there was no response from them either. Now 6-7 months are left; after that, we will have to go in public. Some action should be taken before this (the elections), he said. Pilot alleged that the Modi government at the Centre was misusing the CBI and ED. Targeting the leadership of Congress. Pilot said that by not taking action against corruption, a message would be sent to the public that the Gehlot government is not taking action even after the Rs 45,000 crore mine scam because they have a nexus.
