Thane: In a bid to buy an expensive mobile phone for his girlfriend in Thane, Maharashtra, the lover had to take a loan in the process of fulfilling her every request. The lover took a loan. But he couldn't repay it. He planned to get rid of debt. But he himself got caught in that plan and now the police have arrested him. The incident took place at Shantinagar in Ulhasnagar. Sonu Hariram Bharti, who lives here, lodged a report of the kidnapping of his relative Vijay Kumar Chandrabhan Bharti at the police station on August 14. He said the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs 2 lakh from him. The central police registered a case and took the matter seriously and started investigating. Senior police inspector Madhukar Kad formed the team for investigation. The team started searching for Vijay Kumar. Finally, the police, with the help of Karnataka's Railway Police, traced Vijay Kumar from Raichur in Karnataka. They had come to know that Vijay had not been kidnapped. Rather, his relative has filed a false report with the police. The police arrested the culprit Vijay and brought him to Ulhasnagar. During interrogation, Vijay told the police that he had hatched a conspiracy to kidnap himself to repay his debt. In fact, Vijay was in debt. He wanted to fulfil every demand of his girlfriend. He didn't know how expensive it would cost him to take a loan. He had filed a false case of kidnapping. At present, the culprit is being questioned about where and how much money he had taken a loan.
