In yet another shameful incident a 21-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by her brother-in-law and his friend. The incident is reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Indore. As per the information a woman worked at a nearby school and her brother-in-law used to pick up and drop her off. As per the information, the incident took place on Saturday, December 24. The victim’s husband is an alcoholic. He has started living in a different place after fighting with his mother and brother. After their fight the woman's husband left her home, she stays in the Lasudia area with her mother-in-law and brother-in-law. The woman's brother-in-law reportedly used to drop and pick her up from the school where she works. On 24 December the woman alleged that her brother in law instead of dropping the her at home. She took her to his friend's house. They both then gang-raped the 21-year-old woman. After committing the shameful incident, both the accused fled from the spot. As per the information, They even threatened the woman with dire consequences if she tells about the incident to anyone. However, the rape survival approached the police the next day. The victim also lodged a complaint against both the accused at the Lasudia police station. After receiving the complaint, the police swung into action. they arrested both the accused. A case has been registered against both men under relevant sections, including 376, 376(2)n and 376D of the(IPC). As of now the police are looking into the whole matter and further investigation is going into the matter.
