Bhopal: A 25-year-old woman, Shabana Khan, was killed by her brother-in-law in Gandhi Nagar in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal. On Sunday night, the woman was killed with her own dupatta and the body was dumped in a drain near the house. The woman's body was recovered on Monday. Thereafter, the sensation spread. Police have arrested the criminal Asif from Raisen. According to police, Shabana lived with her family in Sector No.11 of Gandhi Nagar. Her husband Ansar lives in Gujarat. In the house, 2-year-old daughter, in-laws and brother-in-law Asif lived with them. The accused, Asif, told the police that he lived like a husband with his sister-in-law Shabana. He said Shabana had started suspecting him of having an affair with another woman. There was a dispute between the two of them. On Sunday night, there was a fight between the two. In this, in a fit of rage, he killed Shabana by strangulating her with a dupatta. Thereafter, the body was picked up and dumped near the drain and came home and went to sleep. He fled the house after the body was found in the morning. Police have arrested the criminal from Raisen. The woman's body was found in a drain in Gandhi Nagar on Monday. Shabana has been identified after questioning around. Interrogation revealed that the brother-in-law was absconding from the house and her husband lives outside.
