NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is engaged in investigations across the country on the orders of PM Narendra Modi. The CBI is investigating in several departments including Railways, Transport, Banks, BSNL. The CBI is conducting searches at 150 different places across the country. The CBI is conducting extensive inspections across the country. The CBI is trying to find out in these offices how the problemsn of the people are being redressed. The CBI is also investigating the general access to the departments of each citizen. The cities under investigation by the CBI include Jaipur, Jodhpur, Guwahati, Srinagar, Shillong, Chandigarh, Shimla, Chennai, Madurai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Gandhinagar, Goa, Bhopal and Jabalpur. The CBI is also conducting investigations in Nagpur, Patna, Ranchi, Ghaziabad, Dehradun and Lucknow. Quoting sources, the CBI is also conducting investigations at other prominent places adjoining these cities. The CBI is likely to take strict legal action if irregularities are found in any department in the probe, as well as added to its importance due to the probe on PM Modi's orders.
