Mizoram's talented loft back Jerry Lalrinzuala has signed a new contract for several years, extending his contract with ISL football team Chennaiyin FC on Thursday. Jerry has played 65 matches for Chennaiyin FC and was instrumental in the team winning the ISL title in 2017-18. Jerry then took part in everyone else except one match in the session.
Jerry said, "I am very happy to extend the contract after another memorable session from Chennaiyin last season." My journey with the club has been brilliant so far to learn, the people associated with the club have helped me become the footballer that I am today in so many years. ''
After which he said, "I cannot wait to wear Chennaiyin's jersey once again and am ready to play for my passionate supporters."
