3 youths hit by train while crossing railway track

Baloda Bazar: Three persons were hit by a train in Baloda Bazar district of Chhattisgarh while crossing the railway track. The three persons were run over by the train. Police said the bodies of two persons have been recovered while the third person is missing. Baloda Bazar Superintendent of Police Deepak Jha said three persons were trying to cross the bridge over Shivnath river between Nipania and Dagori railway station under Bhatapara police station on Thursday evening.

That is why the train arrived and the youths were hit by it. The train left the three men crushing. The persons have been identified as Dashrath Sahu (40), Suresh Sahu (26) and Shravan Sahu (35). All are residents of Bilaspur district. Police have seized the bodies of two persons on the spot after the case.

SP Deepak Jha said the bodies of the two persons were found mutilated. The third person is still missing. Police said the third person may have fallen into the river when the train collided. So, his body has not been found on the railway track. Police are also searching for the body of the third person. Police said the three men had come to attend a function at Dagori village in Baloda Bazar.
