New Delhi: Indian Test captain Virat Kohli is being remembered a lot after Team India's defeat in the Johannesburg Test. Virat could not play in the match due to back tightness, where Team India lost by seven wickets. Virat was replaced by KL Rahul for the captaincy in the Johannesburg Test.

South Africa had set a target of 240 runs in the match, which the hosts achieved by losing three wickets. Former India cricketer Vinod Kambli has made a big statement about Virat's captaincy after the match. Kambli said that while playing under Virat, Team India has never lost 200 runs and that is what makes Kohli a special captain who has not been appreciated.

The former player wrote on Koo App, "Team India has never lost a Test match under Virat Kohli's captaincy, defending 200 runs, so this captain is special which has not been appreciated.'' The match against South Africa has made a lot clear. Virat's captaincy has been much talked about for some time now. Virat had decided to quit captaining the shortest format of cricket before the T20 World Cup. Kohli was also withdrawn from the captaincy of the ODI team before his big tour of South Africa. Virat and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had raised the issue.
