Tennis star Novak Djokovic's mother Dijana has condemned Australian authorities for cancelling visas and keeping her son in a hotel. Dijana says that her son was kept as a prisoner. He has been kept in a poor housing centre and were also treating him unfairly. Djokovic has challenged the case in court. They are not going to send him back to Australia until the next hearing of the case. He has to wait for eight hours at the airport.
What did Barty say?: World number one women's tennis player Ashleigh Barty has said, "I know how much trouble Covid had caused for our country, especially for the people of Kvitoria province, for the last two years." I can understand why locals (Australians) have been disturbed by the medical exemption to Djokovic. Nadal has said that he feels bad for Djokovic, but he knew the conditions several months ago. I am not encouraging anybody. Everyone does what is good for him. But the rules are rules. There can be a big problem without vaccination.

Australia is not entitled to host the Grand Slam.'' Djokovic's coach and 2001 Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic has said, "Our very different journey to Australia.''
