Itanagar: China will hand over five Indian nationals who went missing from the State of Arunachal Pradesh to India today. Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju had said on Friday that China will hand over five youths who went missing from Arunachal Pradesh to the Indian government on Saturday. The young men had accidentally entered the Chinese border earlier this month. All the five youths were missing since September 2. It was later revealed that they had accidentally entered the Chinese border.

In a tweet on Friday, Rijiju wrote, "China's PLA has confirmed to the Indian Army that all the five Arunachal youths will be handed over to India." On September 8, Kiren Rijiju tweeted, "China's PLA has responded to a hotline message sent by the Indian Army. He confirmed that the young men who went missing from Arunachal Pradesh have been found on their side. Other ways of handing over our rights to those people are continuing."
