Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty’s once again back with their most awaited films Cirkus, which is scheduled to release this Friday. Cirkus is expected to earn a good amount as because of Christmas and New Year mood setting up, the film is expected to attract huge earnings for the festivals. After the series of flop films, Drishyam 2 managed to go past the 200 crore mark. Amid Avatar 2 is also doing good at the Box office. Cirkus’ advance booking has started and so far, it has earned just 51 lakhs for day 1. This is really low considering the fact that Rohit Shetty is a big name and a box office hit machine. The 1 crore mark is yet to be hit and it’s an alarming sign as just 3 days are yet to go for the film’s release. As per the information, Cirkus is made on an estimated budget of 70 crores, it is expected to occupy 2800-3200 screens in the domestic market, going by the release track records of Rohit Shetty’s movies. Cirkus will have to earn in the range of 100-120 crore nett at the box office in India to become a successful venture in terms of business. Rohit Shetty hasn’t seen a below 20 Cr start since Bol Bachchan (2012). Cirkus is an adaptation of Shakespeare's play The Comedy Of Errors, has been directed by Rohit Shetty. The film features Ranveer Singh in lead role and it also feature Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Tiku Talsania, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra and Vrajesh Hirjee. It is Ranveer Singh's third collaborative project with Rohit Shetty.
