Amritsar: On the instructions of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, the state government on Friday issued detailed guidelines to all administrative secretaries, heads of departments, divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners to ensure punctuality. In a press release issued by the Chief Minister's Office, it has been said that for the convenience of the general public reaching these offices from far-flung areas, all the employees-officers will also have to keep good behavior with the people. According to the press release issued by the Punjab government on Friday, all government employees and officers should be punctual for the public good. Apart from ensuring their good behavior, inculcating basic etiquette and giving them proper guidance, fixed time should be earmarked in public offices to meet the common people. It has also been brought to the notice through the release that there is a complete ban on the public to bring their mobile phones in some offices. Which causes a lot of problem to them. So now there will not be a complete ban on bringing mobile phones, but in those offices where it is mandatory, there may be a partial ban in this regard due to some security reasons.
