CM Shivraj met PM Modi, expressed his gratitude for the Ken-Betwa link project

Bhopal: MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan met PM Narendra Modi today. Because of this, he talked on many topics. After the meeting with the PM, CM Shivraj said that today I express my heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the people of MP to PM Narendra Modi for sanctioning the amount for the Ken-Betwa link project. I have requested the Prime Minister to attend the Bhoomi Pujan program of this project:

After the same meeting, Shivraj told that the Ken-Betwa river linking project has been approved by the central government. The dam which will be built by connecting these two rivers will irrigate about 10 lakh hectares of land. 50 lakh persons will get drinking water. CM said that our self help regarding expansion of Shri Mahakal temple complex in Ujjain, CNG making plant from wet waste under “Waste to Wealth” in Indore and to be operated by women self-help groups. I have also requested the PM to launch 7 nutritional food plants of the group.

CM Shivraj said that there were talks with the Prime Minister on many issues including export of agricultural products of MP and natural farming on both the banks of Narmada Maiya. Along with this, the Prime Minister was also apprised of the efforts of celebrating the birthday of villages and cities and development works.
