Lucknow: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Lok Sabha MP from Hyderabad  Asaduddin Owaisi, while talking to the media after the attack, has said that he has started my political career since 1994, so far I have not taken any kind of security, I do not like it. It is the government's responsibility to protect my life. I will never take security in the future. I'll leave when my time comes. 

The AIMIM chief said, "I would like to tell the Election Commission that there must be some mastermind behind this case. A few days ago, there was talk of taking my life in the Dharma Sansad in Prayagraj, which is on record, that too should be seen. Owaisi said there were two attackers in red and white jackets. The attacker, wearing a red jacket, was hit by the car's tyre on his leg, and the attacker, wearing a white jacket, fired at both Fortuner again. Owaisi further said that I have a licensed pistol in Hyderabad. Hearing the sound of the pistol from which the attackers fired, I can say with confidence that the weapon with the attackers was not countrymade but a nine mm pistol or something else. Such attackers have a free hand in India, which is a serious matter.

He said the country's PM, the administration of UP should look into the matter. I hope that the Election Commission will also take cognizance of this matter and it will be investigated. I will also go to the people's court over this matter. If given a chance, I will also meet the Speaker of the Lok Sabha on Friday. Today, a four-time MP has been shot, tomorrow it will be on someone else. I will always go to the promotions of UP. He said that some people are calling it a way of getting false fame, but it should not be considered at all. It should be thoroughly investigated. There must be some mastermind behind this, who does not want to hear my voice and that of the Constitution.
