Lucknow: The world's tallest statue of Lord Sriram will be installed in Ayodhya. The height of the statue can range from 200 to 251 m. The world's tallest statue will be installed on 100 hectares of land adjacent to Saryu. A meeting of the High Power Committee in this regard was held on Monday (22nd July) under the chairmanship of CM Yogi Adityanath. Officials from various departments including Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Cabinet Minister Suresh Khanna, Cabinet Minister Satish Mahana, Chief Secretary Anupchandra Pandey, Additional Chief Secretary Avanish Awasthi were also present. CM Yogi Adityanath has said that the work of setting up a magnificent statue of the modest Purushottam Lord Sriram on 100 hectares of land on the coast of Saryu should be expedited. Apart from the digital museum, interpretation centre, library, parking, food plaza, landscape, the basic amenities of the tourists will also be provided. With this, CM Yogi has asked the officials to keep on giving progress reports from time to time.
