Chandigarh: News of the murder of national-level wrestler Nisha Dahiya and her brother, who won bronze medals at the Under-23 World Wrestling Championship in Sonepat, Haryana, is fake. She is alive and playing senior national in Gonda. But the wrestling player who was killed is Nisha and she was also a university-level player. According to the report, the 22-year-old deceased wrestling player Nisha was a junior wrestler. She was undergoing training at Sushil Kumar Wrestling Academy outside Halalpur village in Sonepat. The reason behind Nisha's murder is said to be that her coach Pawan was molesting her which the victim opposed. Angry over the protest, the coach shot dead the victim and called her house and asked her to take the body away. When the victim's mother and her brother reached the spot, they were also fatally attacked by the coach. The accused also opened fire on the victim's younger brother Suraj (18) and her mother. The victim as well as her younger brother were killed in the incident while the mother sustained serious bullet injuries and is undergoing treatment at PGI Rohtak. Angry villagers attacked the academy after the incident. At the same time, the academy building was demolished and set on fire after being hit by a tractor. Police have registered a case against four named accused and others on the complaint of the victim's mother. At present, the accused coach Pawan along with his wife and children have been absconding since the incident.
