Jaipur: After the Congress' success in the Rajasthan body elections, the process of appointments to the government and the organisation has now begun. Congress national general secretary and state-in-charge Ajay Maken is leaving for Rajasthan on a three-day visit on Friday. In the meantime, Maken will brainstorm with about 100 Congress MLAs, party leaders, activists in Jaipur and Kota. Ajay Maken's visit is considered to be very important as political appointments are going to be held soon in the state. Not only that, the Congress Pradesh Committee has to be reconstituted. Maken will also consult on the Congress Committee's process as well as political appointments. It will be a challenging task before Maken to satisfy Gehlot and Pilot groups. Gehlot and Pilot group want to bring a large part of these political appointments to their closed ones. In Rajasthan, preparations are on for the reorganization of the PCC Committee. The state is to restructure the PCC in January this month and next year and fill a number of key positions. It is believed that both the young and the experience in the restructuring of the PCC is to be taken care of.
