Former Congress MP and veteran leader Mahabal Mishra left the Congress on Sunday (20 November) and joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Mahabal Mishra is a big Purvanchali leader. As per reports, former Congress MP from West Delhi seat and senior leader Mahabal Mishra has formally joined AAP during the public rally of 'AAP' supremo and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi's Paharganj on Sunday. During this, Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia welcomed him with a hug on the stage itself. Kejriwal wrote in a tweet, 'I welcome Mahabal Mishra, a popular leader of Purvanchal society in Delhi, to the Aam Aadmi Party family. Together with your experience among the people and the society, we will take the country forward. During this, Kejriwal requested the people not to vote for those people who want to stop the development and welfare works of Delhi in the upcoming municipal elections.
